Doug Gritzmacher is a freelance director of photography and still photographer. He is a recipient of a 2009 Emmy Award for his work as a video journalist on a documetary about HIV in Jamaica. His cinematography work has appeared on the National Geographic Channel, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, PBS, HGTV, ESPN, BET, NHK and the Military Channel, among others. His still photography has appeared in Smithsonian Magazine and AARP The Magazine. He is also represented by Getty Images’s Global Assignments. Once in a while Doug dables in web and graphic design (such as this website). He has never played paintball.
