For a week each June, a large patch of land located just outside Wyandotte, Oklahoma is transformed into the Normandy Beach, France, battlefront from June 6, 1944. The facility, called D-Day Adventure Park, is ownded and operated by Dewayne Convirs and attracts upwards of 5000 participants, making it the largest paintball event in the world. Participants for both the Allied and German sides arrive from all over the globe. With battle-hardened expressions and dressed in impeccable WWII-era uniforms, these soldiers strive to achieve as much authenticity to the historical event as possible—with two exceptions: They're armed with paint instead of bullets, and the Germans could win. Soldiers of Paint documents this dramatic battle, the characters who play and their preparations for the fight.
